Earth to Art, Beta Group - Sunday July 27 10am-3pm
A one-day natural dye & fabric art workshop.
Step into a day of slow, soulful creation.
Earth to Art is a retreat-style, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to create your own plant-dyed textile art piece from start to finish. We’ll be using custom botanical colours — like avocado pits, turmeric, and coffee — to create beautiful, earthy tones rooted in nature’s palette.
You’ll then learn how to stretch and mount your piece onto a wooden cradle frame — turning your fabric into a finished, ready-to-hang canvas you’ll actually want in your home.
What’s Included:
A full-day creative retreat experience
Custom plant dyes that we will make together, and I will bring my existing palette
Natural cotton fabric + wood cradle canvas
Pre-class creative prompt to inspire your design and get you ready for the day
Lunch + light refreshments
A completed piece of earthy textile art
You can choose between an 18×24”, 16×20” or 20×20” frame. Or chat with me if you want a specific size not listed.
Thoughtful, grounded guidance in an intimate group setting
Post-class feedback opportunity to help refine the full retreat offering
Pricing: $150 CAD for Beta Group participants
(Full retreat price will be $225)
The Intention:
I want you to leave with something you’ll actually want to hang —
a piece of earth beauty, made by hand and rooted in nature’s palette.
This is about reconnecting with your hands,
letting your inner creativity spark,
and creating something personal, grounded, and truly yours.
Date & Location:
Sunday, July 27th, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. (with some flexibility).
Held at my family’s acreage, a beautiful sanctuary and home located in Okanagan Falls.
2835 Green Lake Rd. Okanagan Falls. BC.
Limited participants
No art experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
There will be a maximum of 5 of you, so you will have lots of hands-on help with your design. I will guide you through a process to create your own design, one that is meaningful to you.
